Free Art Drop-In at SCYAP

We offer a Free Art Drop-in three times weekly, providing a safe, creative and positive environment for people to make art. During our Drop-in there is always a staff member present to help with feedback, ideas, suggestions or just show you where we keep our supplies. There is no registration required just come down anytime during our drop in hours. No skill level? No problem come be creative and have some fun with Jane and Silvana.  All ages are welcome so bring your friends, neighbours, uncles and grandmas!

We have paper and cardboard available, if you wish to work on canvas affordable canvas can be purchased at Dollarama and XS Cargo.

Art Ventures

School Art Ventures
Bring your class to our centre for a tour and art activity. Art Activities are designed specifically for the needs and interests of your classroom. 1.5 to 2 hrs Fee $ 90.00 + GST

Art Ventures workshop series
Book your small group, up to 15 people, in a series of eight week arts education workshops. Each series is specifically designed to build confidence, critical thinking and creativity while providing groups with an increased opportunity for social interaction. Themes include:

• Drawing(basic)
• Painting(basic)
• Papier-Mache/Sculpture
• Craft Projects for parents & toddlers
• Variety Pack (mixture of drawing/painting/mixed media)

1.5 to 2hrs/week for 8 weeks fee $ 220.00 + GST

ArtReach

Let us come to you, Artreach focuses on building reliance through making art and learning about culture.  The workshops offer art skill development opportunities as well as enhance personal develop, build self esteem, and foster creative confidence.  The overall goal of the workshops is to help youth use art as a tool to communicate personal desires, opinions and life experiences.  The program is completely tailored to meet the needs of your group.

Art Classes

SCYAP offers art classes for all ages. Classes are typically offered in the spring and the fall. All classes feature:

Art classes $ 180/ person + GST for 6 sessions at 2 hrs each . There will be a $20.00 charge for NFS cheques. Refunds up to 50% will be considered prior to the third class.

 

Beyond Limits

Corporate wellness & team building through art

Innovative, expressive, explorative, creative, non-intimidating and stress-free

SCYAP’s newest initiative will use art as a tool to enhance innovation, expression and creativity in your workplace or at your conferences. Engage your team in non-intimidating artistic activities promoting a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well being, stress reduction and workplace motivation.

We offer 30-minute icebreakers, conference breaks and closure activities plus ½ day team building art activities. Our activities are designed to meet your organizations needs.

Drop-In at School

SCYAP can bring its free art drop-in to your school for a once a week  after school art program. We bring all the supplies.
